Research Funding Opportunities in Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies (SEEES) Field
Understanding the challenges and benefits of seeking external funding to support one's research is a key piece of a successful research agenda. Funding opportunities in SEEES are evolving, responding to changes in the field as well as geopolitical events. This presentation will provide an overview of strategies and opportunities to support SEEES training and scholarship.
David Borgmeyer is the Director of Research Development at Saint Louis Unviersity, where he supports SLU's faculty in growing the university's research enterprise across the institution. He also has a Ph.D. In Slavic Languages and Literatures from USC, and his own research has focused on Russian, East European, and Eurasian modernist art and literature. He has served as President of the Central Slavic Conference and on the Board of Directors of ASEEES. His work has been supported by the Borchard Foundation, Mellon, and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
