Global Studies Research Team Application

Participation in this course will be limited. Applicants should add themselves to the waitlist for Global Studies Research Methods Proseminar and Assistantship (GLOBAL 4007) and complete the application below.

Acceptance will be determined on multiple criteria including space availability and faculty need. While we are interested in your previous research and/or study abroad experience, this is NOT a prerequisite for acceptance in the program.

You may submit an application for the research team at any time for an upcoming semester. After your application has been approved, you will be notified when a matching research opportunity becomes available. At that time, you will be enrolled in the course.

Application deadlines: December 1 for next spring semester and May 1 for next fall semester.

In the Proseminar portion of the course you will be expected to devise your own research question and develop your own research proposal. Please provide an example of a research topic and a question that you would be interested in exploring (no more than 200 words). NB: the choice of topic is not binding.
