How can we harness new sources of datat to inform pressing policy questions? In this course, we investigate some of the largest threats to humanity from climate change to political violence, with new sources of data. Combined with in-class discussions with policy leaders, this course prepares students to employ empirical skills in order to improve policy and the world.
